Soccer Season has begun!

Ella having a water break.

Ella is on the left, running up the field.

Andrew on the far right, waiting to practice kicking balls into the goal.

Kaitlyn and Ella watching Andrew's second game where they won, Andrew scoring 2 goals and assisting with a third goal!

Soccer time has come and both Andrew and Ella are on teams this year.  Andrew's team is "Blue Lightning" and Ella's team is the "Soul Surfers".  Ella practices Tuesday and Friday nights from 6-7:30 pm.  She goes to karate at 7:30 on Tuesday nights, right after soccer, until 8:45.  That is a late night for her.  Andrew practices on Tuesdays from 5-6pm.  Luckily they have the same practice location so we just move around the same field.  They both have games every Saturday for the next two and a half months!  They sure have improved so much just in the few weeks they have been practicing.

Dance Studio

Kaitlyn's dance studio has a new window display!  She is in the group of girls on the bottom right in the black and yellow costume, the one standing up. This was from their January performance.  Can't believe they are already working on new dances for their next performance already!  Time sure does fly by!

Labor Day Weekend - Sept 1st-3rd

In front of the Fresno Temple.

Sunday afternoon = quiet time playing with Legos.

Fire Engine in the area stopped by to say hi to the kids!

They all got to pile inside and take a look around!
For Labor Day weekend, we went up to Fresno.  We had a fun time swimming and staying cool.  Kelly's kiddos came over and had a fun time playing outside and of course, swimming.  On Sunday we walked around the church and went over to the Fresno temple that is just behind the Stake Center.  We had a relaxing afternoon as the kids (and James too!) played with a bunch of legos.  On Monday there was a fire engine that was called out to a small emergency in the area and they drove down the street and saw all the kids playing in the front yard.  They stopped and let us take pictures and the kids were able to hop in and take a look inside the fire engine.  They were really nice and the kids felt pretty special.  It sure was a nice little trip.
