The Fair - Sept 10

Andrew came home from the Fair with heat exhaustion. No fun.
He even endured his dentist appointment afterwards like a champ.

Andrew went to the Fair in the morning and then Ella went to the Fair after school to perform with Wind Ensemble.  At least they were playing inside where it was air-conditioned.  It was and always is the hottest day of the year, when it's La Verne day at the Fair.  Ella and her friends, Michelle and Savannah played in a trio the "Hanging Tree" song from the Hunger Games.  She worked really hard to play such a difficult instrument and a difficult piece of music only having a week or so to prepare.  She practiced after school, during lunch and even over the Labor day weekend with her friends.  They did a great job!
