Soccer Tournament and Dance Competition - May 16

Andrew heading the ball in the game! They won this game!  My favorite was when Andrew slide tackled the ball to keep it in and then headed it again to keep the ball in, all in the same play.

Rainbow Dance Competition

They won the highest marks in one of their dances in their age group/dance category, earning a Double Platinum!

They did a great job! Their dance studio director and teacher were unable to make it today, so they came together and did the competition all on their own!

Choir Pop Show - May 12

Kaitlyn performed in her last junior high choir performance tonight.  The choir sang some fun songs and they had a lot of fun with choreography and costumes. The Spring Pop Show is one of my favorite performances that the choir does each year.  Now she will move on to high school this fall and be in the choir there as well.

JUMP Dance Convention/Competition - May 8-10

The girls had a blast learning from some of the country's top choreographers.  They took classes in jazz funk, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater and hip hop.  They danced all day and all night (literally).  For two and a half days!  It was pretty intense and they learned so much.  It was such a neat and fun experience for the girls.  And when we returned home, Kaitlyn went and laid down and slept for 3 hours and then after waking her up at 8:30 pm to take a shower, went back to bed at 9 pm and slept until the next morning.  She was exhausted!

Barnes and Noble Book Fair - May 5

Some of Kaitlyn's friends sang for the middle school's book fair at Barnes and Noble tonight.  Kaitlyn and her friend, Emma went to support them.  I got there right as it ended, due to picking up and dropping off other kiddos.  She had a fun time with two of her favorite things: friends and books!

Soccer and Yogurtland - May 2

Andrew had a soccer tournament today.  The good side was it was later on in the day with games at 12:15 and 4:15.  It's been a long time since we have been able to sleep in on a weekend.  The bad side was that it was a really hot day.  So we cooled off after the last game, by getting some frozen yogurt.
