Third place out of 16 teams, not a bad way to end Spring league! Now onto a few tournaments! Great job boys!!

The La Verne All-Star Team ended up playing the La Verne Spring Select Team in the play-offs!

Andrew did well in the track meet consisting of 4 different elementary schools today.  He placed third in the 400 meter run and 5th in the 200 meter run.  They don't do longer distances than 400 meters for his age group.  He will do even better when he can compete in a longer distances, as he has great endurance.  He had fun and I think was finally able to relax when his meets were over, he puts so much pressure on himself to succeed in sports.

Lots of fun!

The 8th grade Troubadours choir performed in Burbank at a choir festival.  They received the highest ranking!  Afterwards, they changed and went to Universal Studios.  Two others moms chaperoned with me and we all checked our girls out for the rest of the day so that we could stay until the park closed and have more time.  It was a lot of fun.  I went on rides I may have otherwise not went on.  I'll admit I was terrified, but I did it and I survived.  I haven't chaperoned many field trips lately, so it was nice to break up the middle of the week with a trip.  Added bonus, we didn't have to pay for admission to the park!

Wounded Kitty - April 6

She is so sad  :(

While we were out of town, our kitty got some type of puncture wound to her lower back.  She had a fever and no appetite and she was very listless when we returned.  I took her to the vet where they cleaned out an abscessed wound and put her on antibiotics.  She has to wear the cone for 2 weeks!  She already got it off within minutes of being home, but thankfully left it on all night.  She is still getting her appetite back.  She just stands around like in this picture.  Hopefully the medicine will kick in and she will be feeling more like herself soon.
