We made a last minute trip up to Rocklin for Thanksgiving.  There we stayed with Tiffany and Jason and Mike and Kyndra came up to visit too.  It was a fast and fun trip.  On the way back we took the 99 and passed through Fresno.  It was perfect timing for a bathroom break, but we unfortunately missed seeing my parents because they were both working at the temple.  My sister, Kelly and her family were there and Gigi, who had just spent the day moving into a new place.  We visited for a bit and made our long trek home, arriving at 1:30 in the morning!  Good times!

We actually had some one take our family pictures today.  I haven't done that in over a year and thought it was about time.  I hope they turn out!  I took a few after we stopped at In 'N Out for lunch/dinner.  They had all earned free cheeseburgers for reading from the library.

Ella's team is ranked very high this season.  They have never lost a game.  We played the other team that is also ranked as high as we are, and we tied!  This means that it will matter how well we play our next game on Monday night, who continues on in the play-offs.  Ella played really well as a forward and also had some nice saves as the goalie.  She has really grown so much as a soccer player this season!

Kaitlyn did the challenge course in P.E. today.  Since it's her last class of the day, we parked right by the course and saw her take her turn.  She was up pretty high!

Ella's Campaign for Secretary - Nov 5

She wants to make sure that no one will miss out on Crazy Hat day! Can't believe she can still fit into that hat, side note: she insisted on buying that hat when she was a toddler still riding in a stroller!

Ella, along with 44 other 4th and 5th graders each gave their speeches for their particular office they were running for this morning.  Ella did a great job, even adding at the end that if students voted for her "all their wildest dreams would come true."

Ella won! She's the new Student Council Secretary!  She, along with all of these crazy boys comprise the elected officials.  They had an ice-cream social at one of their houses to celebrate!  Hopefully Ella will keep all those boys in line!  :)

Andrew usually plays forward but if we are scoring too much (this is AYSO), he plays defense.  But this time he asked to play goalie instead of defense, and he was amazing!  He caught this ball before it went in the net!
